Being a thrifty actor is all about saving money. But that doesn’t mean we don’t get to indulge once in a while. For me (Ethan), one of those indulgences is the good old-fashioned pastry. (This is also why I’m a huge fan of the NYU and Columbia Dental Schools and NYC Recreation Centers!) That’s why I love the Au Bon Pain “bake sales.” At most locations across the country, Au Bon Pain offers their pastries and baked goods at half-off during a specified hour of the day. Each location that runs this promo has different hours, although they usually seems to fall around 4pm-8pm. Stock up for yourself, or grab goodies for your upcoming party, opening night celebration or fundraiser! Swing by your local Au Bon Pain and ask.
